Our Humane Officer got a very disturbing call this evening. A dog was found in the Bens Run area that had been abandoned, locked in a crate. The dog was deceased. He either starved to death or drowned. And as you can see he certainly fought to escape his torture.
We are seeking any information. This was intentional and cruel. Our shelter does not turn dogs away. There is NO excuse for this. PLEASE help us find and prosecute the monster guilty of this. The Pleasants County Humane Society will be holding a Community Night at the St. Mary’s Wendy’s location on Tues. March 31st. The event will run from 4:00pm-8:00pm with 10% of all dine in AND drive thru sales going back to the shelter. Lite Rock 93R will be broadcasting live from 4pm-5pm.
